What do you get when you meld the title of GO TO HELL with the writer of FIRE IN THE SKY and HBO’s Carnivale? F*ckin’ Rad, that’s what!
A thousand thanks to our demented horror brethren over at Bloody-Disgusting, who’ve been informed that Escape Artists has struck a deal with Tracy Torme to bring such a flick to the silver-screen. If that doesn’t gyrate your groin, peep this synopsis:
GO TO HELL is a horror flick that follows a hostage negotiator who gets in a near death plane crash but stays alive due to his body freezing in the cold waters. While frozen, he visits Hell until he is revived by doctors. He is then charged with the task of revisiting Hell to rescue someone trapped there.
Damn, why haven’t I thought of that premise? Double Damn!
Not sure about you, but when reading the plotline I’m instantly hit with flashes of JACOB’S LADDER, FINAL DESTINATION, and the upcoming thriller FROZEN (the latter probably due to our propping it recently). If GO TO HELL manages to mirror the terror of the first two mentioned, this could be pure, uncut dope!
