I think I’ve written about my totally heterosexual respect for Chris Evans about twenty times so far on JoBlo.com. Still, I’m gonna do it again; the man is hot shit. What is even cooler than him being the human torch, is that he’s signed on to be involved in film based on a Tennessee Williams screenplay, THE LOSS OF A TEARDROP DIAMOND. The flick stars Bryce Dallas Howard as a rebellious Southern socialite who falls in love with Jimmy (Evans), the down and out son of an alcoholic father and an insane mother. Apparently, Evans decided to get himself involved when he heard that Bryce Dallas Howard had because she’s crazy hot and you’d be stupid not to try and get yourself involved in a film she’s in. Did you see her in SPIDERMAN 3? Anyway, Evans tells MTV that he’s certain the film will be ‘beautiful’, as he prepares to star alongside David Strathairn, Ellyn Burstyn and Dallas Howard (in a role that was originally given to Lindsay Lohan, WHY GOD WHY??). Flame on!
