This is coming straight from Upcoming Horror Movies, who got a message from EVE’s writer/director Brian Metcalf shortly after the announcement was made. He also sent over a much more in depth synopsis, which I’ll get into. But first go ahead and scope out some early concept art to the right (created in 1998!) and the first poster for the flick below. Along with the pictures Metcalf also sent UHM a detailed synopsis, so here that is: “The film is set in an alternate, more seedy Los Angeles. After discovering her father was the deadliest serial killer of all time, Evelyn makes the decision to track down every psycho she can get her hands on. But these are no ordinary killers, they have supernatural advantages to them – something she must learn to adapt to. She also must learn as to why they are gathering in this city and what their evil intentions are while having to reconcile with her own past.”
Hmm alright. Well it does have a bit of a HACK/SLASH vibe going on but the fact that all these baddies are laying ground in LA for some huge event is the wild card. The flick stars Elaine Hendrix as Eve. Hendrix is also producing alongside Metcalf and Karoline Kautz. EVE is set to get going sometime next year so keep it here for updates!
