Everyone’s a target in new Transformers: Age of Extinction clip and tv spot

The TRANSFORMERS franchise is like that girl you used to bang that keeps flirting with you and you swear you aren’t going to sleep with her again, but she looks so sexy and you just can’t help yourself. Inevitably, you end up disappointed, but there is a chance you may run into her again in the future. TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION is that girl looking so damn hot you make the same mistake a fourth time.

In this new extended TV spot for the Michael Bay explosion orgy, we get a new look at the pending alien invasion by a fleet of ships that look like the game Simon crossed with the mothership from INDEPENDENCE DAY. The movie still looks really damn visually sexy but then we see the clip with Kelsey Grammer and Mark Wahlberg. Grammer looks like a cliche evil businessman with a plan and is chewing the scenery with gusto, but Wahlberg looks flat. He even pulls of his glasses in the most cliche way possible! So many cliches!

Whatever the case, I have a feeling I am still going to see TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION to see what it is all about. I may end up regretting it afterwards, but hopefully I am at least partially entertained for a couple of hours.

TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION hits theaters on June 27th.
