This Tuesday one of the coolest looking indie horror flicks that we’ve been tracking for a while now hits DVD stores everywhere, and if you’re anyone who’s anyone, you have that shit pre-ordered, or you’ve at least made a mental note to add it to your Netflix queue. That movie? MIDNIGHT MOVIE.
In order to pimp out the flick, director Jack Messitt sent us an AITH exclusive still from THE DARK BENEATH, the long-lost cult classic film that MIDNIGHT MOVIE revolves around. As a refresher, MIDNIGHT MOVIE is about a midnight showing of an early 1970’s horror movie turns to chaos when the Killer from the movie comes out of the film to attack those in the theater.
The new image features said Killer from the horror movie within the movie. Is it me, or is this guy flippin’ badass? Yeah, he’s badass alright… a real motor scooter, and that mask of his… legendary.
