Just last month, I showed you guys a bunch of brand new stills from writer/director Jeremiah Sayys upcoming thriller OF SILENCE, which keeps piquing my curiosity more and more. And today is no different as I have for you the first official one-sheet from the flick. Yeah, that’s it up top. What do you guys think of it? Nicely understated? Too plain? Too dark? As far as first posters go, I believe it does a pretty nice job of teasing the audience.
Here is the official synopsis: A scuba diver/musician, Colby Van Poe, a man suffering from an inner ear medical condition, tries to cope with his wife’s suicide. The guilt of him feeling responsible for her death causes him to slip into a familiar world of silence inhabited by strange shadows and menacing voices. His family, while celebrating his birthday, try to cheer him up, but seem to only scratch the surface. Could the shadows within the silence mean he is finally losing his mind, or is it possible that his nightmares and ghoulish visions really exist?
Maybe it is possible? Who the F knows? But I do know that the cast includes Sayys, Masiela Lusha (BLOOD: THE LAST VAMPIRE), Ashlee Gillespie, Matthew Lawrence, Muse Watson, Suzanne Ford, Najarra Townsend, and Paul Cuneo. Hopefully we’ll be hearing about a release or trailer some time soon.
