Over the past few years I have become a big fan of Ty Burrell. Even though up until recently, I had never watched the hit series “Modern Family.” However, after taking on a few episodes I was certainly impressed with his work on the series. The very talented Burrell has been involved in a number of other interesting projects including DAWN OF THE DEAD in 2004, NATIONAL TREASURE: BOOK OF SECRETS in 2007 and recently MR. PEABODY AND SHERMAN as well as the upcoming THE SKELETON TWINS.

When I sat down with him he was exactly what I expected him to be. He is soft-spoken and exceedingly down to earth. During our discussion we talked about working with the Muppets and his relation to Sam the Bald Eagle. When I asked him about being able to step outside of his series, I was very impressed with how sincerely he talked about his day job. Mr. Burrell is incredibly kind and one of the most likable actors around. He is also one of the highlights in the oh-so entertaining MUPPETS MOST WANTED. You can check this super funny flick out this Friday at a theatre near you.
