Imogen Poots might just have the best eyes in the movies right now. She almost certainly has the best name. The young British beauty’s profile has been steadily rising since her memorable turn in 28 WEEKS LATER, appearing in such diverse projects as CENTURION, JANE EYRE and the FRIGHT NIGHT remake. In THAT AWKWARD MOMENT, we get to see a different side of Ms. Poots, as she plays the sassy maybe-girlfriend of Zac Efron’s commitment-phobic New Yorker. She’s wonderful in it.
In the interview below, I ask Imogen about making a romantic comedy centered around guys, an awfully awkward incident that happened to her involving a pond, what advice she has for awkward guys, and her conquering of every movie genre in existence.
