Exclusive clip from The Final Wish starring Lin Shaye & Tony Todd

Back in December, director Timothy Woodward Jr.'s THE FINAL WISH starring Lin Shaye and Tony Todd premiered at Screamfest. Our very own Jimmy O had the chance to review the film, calling it, "yet another example of taking a low budget and bringing a fresh new take on a familiar storyline. It offers a well-written script and a cast worth investing in." He goes on to say, "hopefully audiences will soon discover this little gem of a flick" and "Here’s wishing that THE FINAL WISH will come true and horror fans will soon get a chance to seek it out."

The film will be playing in select theaters across the U.S. beginning this month and today we have an exclusive clip from the flick for you to check out! It features Tony Todd (CANDYMAN himself) teaching our young duo of heroes about demons and unclean spirits. You can give the exclusive clip a look-see below and then after that, hit us up and let us know how excited YOU are to check out THE FINAL WISH later this month!

Here's the official synopsis:

From the creator of the Final Destination franchise comes a new tale of death. Following the passing of his father, Aaron Hammond (MICHAEL WELCH) returns to his hometown to help his devasted mother (LIN SHAYE) and to confront his past demons. Sifting through his father’s belongings, Aaron comes upon a mysterious item that is far more than it seems.

The film is directed by Timothy Woodward Jr (GANGSTER LAND, HICKOCK) from a screenplay written by Jeffrey Reddick (FINAL DESTINATION), Jonathan Doyle, and William Halfon. It stars Lin Shaye (INSIDIOUS, OUIJA), Michael Welch (ALL THE BOYS LOVE MANDY LANE), Spencer Locke (INSIDIOUS: THE LAST KEY), Melissa Bolona (THE HURRICANE HEIST), and Tony Todd (CANDYMAN, FINAL DESTINATION). Reddick, Woodward Jr., Lauren de Normandie, Johnny Cleveland, and Thommy Huston produced. THE FINAL WISH hits select theaters on January 24, 2019.
