Exclusive! Clip from upcoming fan film Halloween: Michael vs. Michael

It's not very often that we cover short films or fan films here on Arrow in the Head, so director Michael T. Lombardi's upcoming short fan film HALLOWEEN: MICHAEL VS. MICHAEL is a very special case. This one has caught our attention due to the fact that it stands out among other fan films by shaking up the formula and doing something different.

Drawing inspiration not just from the HALLOWEEN franchise but also from Stranger Things and WEIRD SCIENCE, and mixing in a heavy comic book influence, HALLOWEEN: MICHAEL VS. MICHAEL drops two versions of the iconic slasher Michael Myers into a new setting, populated by new characters, in a world where everyone is familiar with the HALLOWEEN movies.

The film has the following synopsis:

With a Halloween deadline looming, best friends and self-proclaimed horror geeks Bobby and Nick team-up to create an ambitious high school science project on the eve of Halloween. But when an unusual geomagnetic storm hits, it unleashes evil times-two into their small Midwestern town of Haddonfield. With the help of friends Audrey & Willow, the boys find themselves in a race against time to stop two very real and potentially invincible versions of the boogeyman Michael Myers before it’s too late. Will they survive the night?

Ben Seideman, Kyle Geriak, Ellie Ash, Samantha Bauer, Quinn Murphy, Nicole DeMotte, Jack Stone, Madison Stanchick, Bryn Berg, Paul Noonan, and Dave Wall star, with Tony Ionno and Lombardi himself taking on the roles of the two Michaels.

With the Halloween season now upon us, we're proud to share the trailer for HALLOWEEN: MICHAEL VS. MICHAEL, as well as an EXCLUSIVE clip from the film. Check them out below, along with a handful of images, the poster, and a look at a comic book that is connected to the plot.

The 30 minute film will premiere online in early November.
