Exclusive: A new look at two graphic art posters inspired by Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance!

If you were at Comic-Con this past year, you not only saw some bitchin’ footage from GHOST RIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE but you also saw some beautiful and original graphic art inspired by the film hanging outside the Hard Rock Hotel. But wait…I’m getting ahead of myself here.

A few years ago if you had asked me if I’d ever be interested in a GHOST RIDER sequel, I would’ve politely passed (then impolitely snickered as you walked away). But the mad geniuses of Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor signed on to reboot the franchise – still with Nicolas Cage – and lo and behold, SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE is one of my most anticipated films of 2012. I mean, Ghost Rides pisses fire. I don’t know what else you really need to know about this film.

So we’re excited about SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE and we know you’re an artistic bunch. A few years ago, a JoBlo.com reader won a poster design contest for Focus Features. So it’s with that in mind that we pass along news of the GHOST RIDER “Face of the Fan” contest that’s calling on enterprising artists to create their own poster for SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE. You can submit up to three designs with the help of assets provided by Sony Pictures and the winner will get their poster used as part of the film’s marketing campaign and a trip for two to the film’s premiere!

For more information and to enter the contest, click here to head to the official site.

Now with all that said, I believe I was talking about some rad graphic art earlier. To help inspire you on your way to movie poster design stardom, we present an exclusive look artwork from GHOST RIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE! This is the first time either of these pieces have officially been online presented in hi-res. Check them out below and make sure to enter the Face of the Fan contest while you’re at it!
