SLICES OF LIFE is gearing up for a DVD release on June 7 via Midnight Releasing, and we have a handful of exclusive stills for you. The indie anthology comes from director Anthony G. Sumner, who co-wrote the script with Eric Richter and Alan Rowe Kelly.
In addition to the pictures, you’ll also find the DVD cover art below. Special features on the disc include an audio commentary, behind-the-scenes featurette, visual effects design featurette, and an early short entitled “Jitters.”
The picture promises sexual parasites, disembowelment, zombies, serial killers, demon children, violent vixens, rabid office workers and angry embryos. It stars Kaylee Williams, Marv Blauvelt, Helene Alter-Dyche, Deneen Melody, Toya Turner, Jamia Vinci, Thurston Hill, Judith Lesser, Galen Schloming, Bruce Varner, Mike Tracy, and Kelly.
Mira awakens in front of a seedy roadside motel with amnesia. She searches for clues to her identity in the pages of three bound sketchbooks, in which each book represents a different aspect of everyday life: work, home and sex.
Convinced that the characters from these books are roaming around the motel, Mira’s reality begins to crumble. Are these visions real or is she going insane? Desperate, Mira turns to the motel caretakers, only to discover the true evil bound in the flesh covered books and the destiny they hold for her.
