Two years ago, synthwave artist Carpenter Brut debuted a visually stunning video for his song "Turbo Killer" that was written and directed by Seth Ickerman. Since then, the video has racked up nearly 5 million views – and Ickerman has crafted a 40 minute sequel titled BLOOD MACHINES.
Starring Elisa Lasowski, Anders Heinrichsen, and Christian Erickson, BLOOD MACHINES tells the story of
an A.I. escaping its spaceship then turning into a female ghost who will challenge two blade runners to an galactic chase.
Funded by a successful Kickstarter campaign and executive produced by KUNG FURY director David Sandberg, BLOOD MACHINES was filmed at the end of last year and is currently in post-production, targeting a late 2018 delivery date. The sci-fi project was produced by Logical Pictures, the co-producer of the recent releases REVENGE and INCIDENT IN A GHOST LAND.

Boasting 400 visual effects shots, BLOOD MACHINES is an ambitious and impressive production, and I'm hyped to see the completed short.
