Exclusive: This “It’s not what it looks like” supercut is pure cringe comedy

Establishing one's innocence during times of stress or total embarassment is always an uphill climb. Though if I can offer you all some friendly advice, it's probably not the best idea to begin your pleas for understanding with the age-old phrase "This is not what it looks like." Do you know why? It's because in most cases what you've been caught doing is exactly what it looks like, and your outright denial makes you look guilty as hell.

Today we have an exclusive video to share with you from editor Matthew Hacunda, who's created a supercut of the "It's not what it looks like!" line frequently used in movies. Throughout the video, Matt samples cringe-worthy moments from films such as AMERICAN PIE, THE LONE RANGER, EARTH GIRLS ARE EASY, WALK HARD: THE DEWEY COX STORY, YOU, ME AND DUPREE and much, much more.

We hope you enjoy the video, which is bound to remind you of many awkward moments throughout film history. As your attorney I advise you to always have a good excuse waiting in the wings, because you never know who will catch you doing something unseemly, or how you'll have to creatively walk back your obvious actions. Best of luck, friends. And remember, the devil is always in the details.
