The dynamic duo of Eric and Ammon over at Arrow in the head have gotten a scoop about a new project using their powers of investigative journalism. Tom Jane was a guest on their most recent podcast (airing Wednesday) and informed the pair that he’ll be joining Sylvester Stallone in the upcoming non-Rocky, non-Rambo feature HEADSHOT.

Here’s the official plot:

Stallone will star as a New Orleans hitman who teams with an NYPD detective (Jane), as they are brought together by two vicious murders. The two proceed to take on all who stand in their way.

Jane hails the script as “fantastic” and told our boys a little about the role he’d be playing opposite Sly.

“He’s a hitman, I’m a cop, and we’re just opposite in every f*cking way, and we need each other to get this job done. And of course I’m like, ‘As soon as this job’s over, I’m going to take you to jail, you know, you’re a killer.'”

Jane vs Stallone? Punisher vs. Rambo? That’s an idea I can get behind.

Tune in to the AITH podcast (their 100th!) this Wednesday to hear the full chat with Tom.
