Expend4bles: Gear up and reload for the new mission in the red band trailer to the action franchise

The Expendables aRe back! So says the new red-band trailer for Expend4bles, which promises a blood-soaked return to for for the fellas.

The Expendables III concluded with new blood joining the team. Now, even newer blood will form the small group of mercenaries that originated in the 2010 film, The Expendables, which starred action legends Sylvester Stallone, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, with appearances by Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis. Then rising action star Jason Statham played the right-hand man to Stallone’s Barney Ross, Lee Christmas. Statham gets promoted to the star in this entry, although Stallone will still make an appearance. Lionsgate has just released the newest trailer for the franchise that celebrates the action movies of old.

The official synopsis from Lionsgate reads,

Armed with every weapon they can get their hands on and the skills to use them, The Expendables are the world’s last line of defense and the team that gets called when all other options are off the table.
