You have to hand it to these companies that churn out these low budget horror films. You can even take that further with Tempe Video and Fat Cat DVD, who have announced a four-disc set of 5 films for December 12th. Eye For Terror is the name of the game, er, set, and features the following: THE BONESETTER RETURNS, FINAL CURTAIN, HELL ASYLUM, SATANIC YUPPIES and SHOCK CINEMA VOL. 1 & 2.
Surprisingly, this set has a lot of extras for its contents. THE BONESETTER RETURNS features a director/actor commentary, stills gallery and DVD trailers, FINAL CURTAIN (which is on the same disc) features a director/actor commentary and a featurette of sorts.
HELL ASYLUM seems the winner of the 5 films, with a 1.85:1 aspect ratio presentation and 5.1 surround sound, and features in terms of extras a director/composer commentary, an additional director commentary, featurettes, bloopers, interviews, stills gallery, music video and a whack of trailers. SATANIC YUPPIES gets its cast/crew commentary and a couple of featurettes.
