Famous Monsters of Filmland planning five Famous Monster flicks with Reboot

Way back in February I told you guys how The Famous Monsters of Filmland were planning on kicking off their first convention later this Summer. You guys remember that? Well it seems horror conventions aren’t the only thing The Famous Monsters of Filmland have their sights on…

You see, Halycon International Pictures and The Famous Monsters of Filmland are teaming for THE FAMOUS MONSTERS OF FILMLAND: REBOOT! So what is REBOOT? Well I’ll let you all scope out the synopsis before I get into it:

For decades, they roamed the cinemas, video stores and late night TV, haunting us, exciting us and inspiring us… Now, the Famous Monsters are back…in Five ALL NEW movies ready to entertain an all new generation.

Whoa! Five all new movies?! You’ve got to be kidding me! In a world of blockbuster reboots and reimaginings do we really need Halycon and Famous Monsters of Filmland trying their hand at rebooting classic monsters as well? … Then again, who knows. Maybe this won’t be so bad? Now let me get into the five flicks in question:

DRACULA: REBORN

MUMMY: RESURRECTED

FRANKENSTEIN: REGENERATED

WEREWOLF: RELOADED

CREATURE: RETURNS

Well that’s interesting. What’s with all the ‘Re-s?’ Must’ve took someone a long time to come up with all of those. In all seriousness, THE FAMOUS MONSTERS OF FILMLAND: REBOOT is actually a project that might shape up to be something badass so let’s not make any judgements just yet.

Now not only do we have the above details for you all to chew on today but we’ve also got some goods for THE FAMOUS MONSTERS OF FILMLAND: REBOOT! Interesting, no? Could these banners give us an idea of the flick’s heading our way? Like will Werewolf be ‘wolfing’ out in a space station? And it seems Dracula will be visiting the suburbs. So many questions with no answers! Also, there’s no telling which title WEREWOLF will fall under seeing how above it’s labled RELOADED and below it’s labeled REBELLION. I’m digging REBELLION much more myself.

Hopefully we get more details on THE FAMOUS MONSTERS OF FILMLAND: REBOOT soon, like perhaps plot breakdowns for each of the films. Would that be too much to ask for? We’ll keep our eyes open for that so be sure to keep it here for more as we hear it!
