This month’s Fangoria VOD movie collection (titled “Spectral Splatter and Hillbilly Hellrides”) is available to all Comcast subscribers and includes fan favorites like Stan Winston’s PUMPKINHEAD; THE WOODS starring Bruce Campbell; THE RESURRECTED, from ALIEN creator Dan O’Bannon; the original backwoods bloodbath WRONG TURN; THE LEGEND OF HELL HOUSE, from the novel by I AM LEGEND author Richard Matheson; the ’80s paranormal classic THE ENTITY; H.P. Lovecraft’s THE DUNWICH HORROR, from the glory gory days of American International Pictures; Mario Bava’s BLACK SABBATH and the rare drive-in cult classic THE EVICTORS.  Check out the promo below.

Fangoria Presents has also selected five titles for Volume One of their premieres, including INHUMAN RESOURCES (featuring makeup FX supervision and a cameo by Tom Savini); the British slasher AXED; SIN REAPER (starring genre legend Lance Henriksen), the zombie splatterfest GERM Z, and Steve Stone’s ENTITY, which is rumored to be more frightening than all of the PARANORMAL ACTIVITY films put together. Veteran comic book artist Mike Miller designed and illustrated the artwork for all five movies, which you can see below and at the bottom of this article.

The third in Fangoria Presents feature premieres, the Siberia-set supernatural story ENTITY, premieres on Demand April 9. Directed by Steve Stone and starring Dirvla Kirwin, Charlotte Riley and Branko Tomovic, the synopsis goes like this:

In 1998, thirty four unidentified bodies were found in shallow graves  in a remote Siberian forest. Despite subsequent police investigations no official explanation was ever offered by the Russian authorities for these  deaths. The case was closed three years later.

In 2010..a small English TV crew set out for the remote Russian forest. The Darkest Secrets TV programme revisits the sites of unsolved mysteries both ancient and modern. They employ the gifts of a psychic whose extraordinary powers  may shed new light on this old secret.. The last communication to their production office in London stated that  they were approaching the Siberian region where the bodies were found. Nothing was heard from them again.
