Fans drag Kim Kardashian for spoiling Spider-Man: No Way Home on her Instagram

Kim Kardashian did a not-so-smart thing after taking in a viewing of Spider-Man: No Way Home. The mogul and influencer posted photos from the film’s most pivotal scenes on her Instagram Story for her 274 million fans to see and some of them were not too happy about it.

On Monday night, Kardashian posted photos of Spider-Man: No Way Home while watching the new Marvel blockbuster. For those who haven’t seen it, I won’t reveal what scenes she spoiled but I will say they’re from the film’s climactic third act. If you have seen the film, you know exactly what she posted, and since she has 274 million followers, that’s a lot of people left open to having the film spoiled. One tweet reads, “I thought the SpiderMan ending would get ruined from ALOT of places on social media for me, but never in @KimKardashian ‘s insta stories. Nothing says privilege like getting a movie in your own private theatre and spoiling it for those of us who are trying to stay home and safe!” Yikes! I can honestly see the frustration because, as someone pointed out, Kim Kardashian did not have to go to a packed theater to see the film and has the luxury of renting out a private space to watch the film safely. I’m not sure how she wouldn’t know that’s a huge spoiler moment to post to her story but maybe she read that “Deadline” article that said an estimated 38 million people have already seen the film and figured what’s the harm? I don’t follow Kim Kardashian and I’ve already seen the movie so I was safe but apparently she heard the social media disturbance quickly because she did delete the story soon after.
