Father Corn Hush

Here’s an upcoming horror flick with some serious “daddy issues”. It’s called HUSH (not to be confused with that Gwyneth Paltrow-starring p.o.s.) and tells the story of a college student plagued by madness-inducing memories of his evil deceased dad.

Fango scored a couple of pics from the flick and, wait a minute… is that the crazy ginger kid from CHILDREN OF THE CORN playing the evil daddy?! Why, yes it is! Mr. Courtney Gains is all grown up and still wrecking havoc! Damn, if that dude was my dad, I’d probably go mad too. When can we expect to see this red-headed demon torment his son? Here’s what HUSH’s producer, Brandon E. Brooks, had to say:

“It’s in rough-cut stage right now, and we’re currently searching for the right composer. Once we nail that down in the next couple of weeks, we’re going to plot out some promotional appearances for the film en route to a fall premiere of the final cut.” So I guess a Father’s Day premiere is out of the question. Oh well, I guess we’ll have to wait. But to appease our curiosity, we do have the not-too-shabby teaser trailer for you below.

HUSH was written and directed by Amel J. Figueroa, and stars Adam Ciesielski, Brea Bee, Clayton Myers, Dennis Ronin, Bill Allen, Jeremy Zelig and Laura Lynn Cottel, plus familiar horror icons Tony Todd, Mark Lassise (FEAR OF CLOWNS), and Reggie Bannister. For the rest of the pics, click here.
