There’s a new one sheet going around for THE FINAL DESTINATION that quite literally puts the final nail in it’s coffin. Don’t get me wrong… the FINAL DESTINATION franchise has been pretty damn good for the most part, especially in today’s genre library… but going up against Rob Zombie’s HALLOWEEN 2? I’m not sure if Death can get to that one..
If you’re asking yourself what I’m talking about please allow me to remind you. THE FINAL DESTINATION previously had a release date of August 28th… which is a date it’s sharing with HALLOWEEN 2. Now the general consensus was that one of the two films would flop to another date… and by one of the two I mean THE FINAL DESTINATION. But it seems that isn’t the case! This new one sheet, seen above, that’s been roaming around the net reminds folks to catch the flick in RealD 3D come August 28th. So it looks like this one is set in stone. Now the actual poster isn’t anything new. It’s the badass poster we showed you last month but now we know it’s in RealD 3D!
THE FINAL DESTINATION comes from FINAL DESTINATION 2 director David R. Ellis and stars Krista Allen, Nick Zano, Mykelti Williamson, Bobby Campo, and Shantel VanSanten (below) among others. Death has succeeded (for the most part) thus far in this franchise… can it topple Mr. Myers? We’ll find out August 28th! My money’s on Mikey but I’ll probably be seeing them both!
