FD4 vs H2

In what appears to be one of the craziest release moves of all time, New Line Cinema has officially pushed back the release date of FINAL DESTINATION: DEATH TRIP 3D from August 14th to August 28th–right up in direction competition with Rob Zombie’s H2!

I don’t think they thought this out well. They must have not heard about H2. This will not last. It can’t. Two R rated horror flicks released during the same weekend in August? Sounds like one of them is committing suicide and it’s not H2.

At this point, it seems that FD4 should take another step further and shoot for a weekend in September. I mean, at least it likely won’t have any competition that month, and who knows… maybe people will actually go see it then.

Regardless, the new date is the new official date. Stick around to see if it changes once again. FINAL DESTINATION: DEATH TRIP 3D hits theaters everywhere August 28th, 2009.
