Fearless Tales

Listen up compadres. If you live in or around the San Francisco area then you’re going to want to clear some time on your schedule to check out the Fearless Tales festival running March 29th – April 3rd. As you can tell by their description, these folks mean business:

Fearless Tales is an advocate of compelling, inspired, cinema. We advocate the most independent of the independent and the last bastion of creative filmmaking. These are the films that must be made from the filmmakers who will do anything to make them. These are the Fearless Tales made by the fearless and the possessed. Fearless Tales is not a distributor or an agent. We ourselves are filmmakers, with a great passion for film; in all the incarnations the 21st century gives us. Our goal is to connect filmmakers with distributors and venues. We look for creative answers to the question that most ultra-indy filmmakers face, how do I get my movie seen?

Gotta give ’em points for enthusiam for sure. Not only that but they’ve landed a number of fun special guests including John Landis (AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON), Ulli Lommel (BOOGEYMAN, the 80’s one) and Christa Campbell (2001 MANIACS/pictured below).

The film line up is impressive to say the least, including some of our site fav’s like FREAK OUT, DEAD MEAT
and
COLLINGSWOOD STORY
. You can check the full schedule here, with lots more info on individual titles and guests at the official site.

Considering the modest $125 for an all-access ticket, I say put down your latte and get crackin’ amigos! This looks to be one bloody good time!
