UPDATE: Apparently not all cable providers have dropped FearNET. Best check to see whether you still have it or not before you call to complain. Thanks to Soulburn420 for the heads up!
If you’re a regular subscriber to cable and are lucky enough to have FearNET OnDemand as part of your cable package, then you may have noticed something odd over the last couple of days: FearNET is missing. Well, it’s not missing per se, see… the cable network got canned by Time Warner. Sorry folks–FearNET is no more!
Talk about a flippin’ bummer, yo! Where else can you catch awesome horror flicks OnDemand, anytime you want? Hell, even their horror programming was dope… but alas, Time Warner felt differently, and so it got the boot. Ain’t that just typical, horror getting the shaft over other things like Lifetime or some silly shite like that?
But there’s something you can do about it. If you’re a subscriber, and you’re outraged (as you should be), you can call and complain, and request that FearNET be added back into your package! The theory being, enough people actively want it back and Time Warner may change their mind and sign them up again.
