Apparently FEAST 2: SLOPPY SECONDS is so horribly gruesome and insane that it’s causing people to actually quit! STYD is reporting that 2 crew memebers have quit production, stating: “I have better things to do with my life than throw a bag filled with someone’s grandmother against a wall!”
The response from writers Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton? “Geez, we thought someone would quit over the graphic nudity or maybe the multiple creature disembowelments but…oh well, maybe they didn’t read that far.” That is awesome. They even added that FEAST 3 will be even better!
Speaking of FEAST 3, Bloody-Disgusting is reporting that it’s gotten a title. They recently caught up with writer Marcus Dunstan, who said from here on out, FEAST 3 will be known as: FEAST 3: THE HAPPY FINISH. Not as good as SLOPPY SECONDS, but I’ll take it. He also stated that we might see a bit of a prequel somewhere in the two films. I can see this as good or bad. Knowning where the creatures originated from, I want to know yet I don’t. I’m happy either way.
Dunstan also told BD that he and Patrick Melton already wrote a draft for FEAST 4, and if these two sequels do well, who knows!
That’s all great news in my book. FEAST 2: SLOPPY SECONDS stars Clu Gulager, Krista Allen (below), Jenny Wade, and Diane Goldner, and I’m assuming Balthazar Getty and Josh Zuckerman. It’s being directed by FEAST helmer John Gulager and as I stated, it was written by Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton. Gulager, Dunstan, and Melton are also the ones behind FEAST 3: THE HAPPY FINISH. FEAST 2 starts filming October 31 in Louisiana, and will be directly followed by the filming of FEAST 3 about a month later.
