After being missing for fifteen years, billionaire Danny Rand (Finn Jones) returns home to New York City and tries to reconnect with his past as well as his family legacy. He also uses his mastery of kung-fu and his ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist in order to fight against the criminal element which is corrupting the city. The debut of Marvel's fourth series with Netflix is now less than a month away, and the streaming giant has released a behind-the-scenes featurette which gives us a taste of some more new footage. The featurette also dives into just what makes Danny Rand tick as well as teasing the challenges which he has ahead of him when he faces off against the dark forces.
So far, we've seen two seasons worth of Daredevil as well as a season each of Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, and with Iron Fist nearly upon us, the stage will be set for the (hopefully) epic Defenders mini-series which is due to hit Netflix sometime this summer. In addition to seeing more seasons of Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage in the future, we're also got The Punisher to look forward to. Our Marvel/Netflix cup runneth over.
All thirteen-episodes of Iron Fist are set to debut on Netflix on March 17, 2017.
