Ferland joins Eclipse

Our own Mike C. is usually the one to dish on upcoming TWILIGHT news, but this time I couldn’t resist. One of the creepiest, and most talented, kids in the industry has signed up to star in David Slade’s ECLIPSE, the next (and final?) entry in the TWILIGHT series after NEW MOON.

So who we talkin’ about here? Jodelle Ferland, that’s who. Or rather, the creepy little girl in SILENT HILL. Yeah, see, now you know who I’m talking about. That chick. According to Variety, Ferland has signed on to play a recently turned vampire.

It may blow your mind to think about this, but Ferland is now 14. I guess she’s not quite so little as she used to be, but probably still looks like she’s 10. Hopefully she can milk the creepy little girl image for a few more years as it seems to be a niche market, though Isalbelle Fuhrman from ORPHAN is supplying some solid competition.

Ferland joins Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Xavier Samuel, and Bryce Dallas Howard (below) in the flick, which hits theaters everywhere June 30. Ah… by this time next year, the TWILIGHT madness will finally be over…
