A week ago exactly we shot you all up with an official poster for Rodrigo Cortes’ coffin-confined chiller BURIED. Well, looks like our comrades over at STYD have groped their harry palms on a few more set and production stills from the flick (which you can leer at HERE).
Written by Chris Sparling (BALANCE, AN UZI AT THE ALAMO), and featuring a sparsity of players, Cortes’ thrilling mystery follows:
Paul, a U.S. contractor working in Iraq. After an attack by a group of Iraqis he wakes to find he is buried alive inside a coffin. With only a lighter and a cell phone it’s a race against time to escape this claustrophobic death trap.
Now that’s what I’d call a horror film. Or at least, a really horrific situation. F*ck water-boarding, that’s some real torture!
With Ryan Reynolds headlining, Ivana Mino, Anne Lockhart and Jose Maria Yazpik lend support.
