Fictional Walt Disney biopic sets the Internet abuzz

JoBloJoBlo

The Internet is alive with chatter regarding the Ron Howard/Ryan Gosling biopic about Walt Disney.  The only problem is the movie does not exist.

The poster was created by French graphic artist Pascal Witaszek and features an all-star cast.  Michelle Williams, Ewan McGregor, Ayelet Zurer, Pierfrancesco Favino, Marion Cotillard, and Matthew Fox are all slated to appear alongside Gosling.  Alan Menkin is poised to provide music to a screenplay by David Koepp and Akiva Goldsman. Most of these names are prior Ron Howard colleagues and Gosling and Michelle Williams appeared together in BLUE VALENTINE.

I think that this would be a very interesting story to finally make it to the big screen.  If Walt Disney Pictures were to produce, you could be sure any alleged Nazi sympathizing urban legends would never make it into the script.

Ryan Gosling has certainly established himself as a quality actor, especially with his recent performances in BLUE VALENTINE and DRIVE.  The question would be, is he willing to go a little more mainstream and a little more PG?  He did. after all, get his start as a Mouseketeer.

I would definitely buy a ticket to see this movie. How about you?
