Kemodo Entertainment and High Star Entertainment will unleash a triple threat on action fans when Eric Johnson (VikingsPretty Little Liars: Original SinThe Knick), Martin Kove (Cobra KaiThe Karate Kid), and Kevin Nash (The PunisherJohn WickMagic Mike XXL) team for Fight Another Day, directed and co-written by Jason Mark (EnhancedControl) with Matthew K. Nayman.

The plot of Fight Another Day revolves around a rough-and-tumble cop (Johnson) who is transported to a dystopian future, where he is forced to enter a deadly combat tournament for a chance to return to his original time. Several cult UFC fighters are filling out the cast for Mark’s sci-fi arena-style spectacle, including Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell and “The World’s Most Dangerous Man” Ken Shamrock. Fight Another Day is currently shooting in Toronto.

“James has years of stunt action movies under his belt,” said Bruno Marino, who produces through High Star Entertainment alongside Mark’s Kemodo Entertainment. “He made his bones working on several Hollywood productions and will no doubt amaze audiences with his unique brand of fight/action sequences.” High Star comes part and parcel with an in-house stunt team of seasoned professionals of the craft.

Famous for playing Erik on History’s Vikings, Johnson recently starred in Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin as Sheriff Beasley. Meanwhile, Kove stars on Netflix’s Karate Kid spin-off series Cobra Kai as the villainous John Kreese. Determined to restore the Cobra Kai dojo to its former glory, Kreese is out for blood (and revenge) in the hit show’s latest season. Lastly, Nash is known for beating people to a pulp as a titan of the squared circle. He recently starred in the Covid-19-inspired action thriller Lockdown and alongside Channing Tatum in Dog.

With a trifecta of bare-knuckle brawlers ready to throw down, Fight Another Day could be what action fans look for in a dystopian setting with a classic action film plot.
