Final 4 script preview

When a series goes from an exploding plane, to one of the most kick-ass car accident sequences ever filmed, to a brutal roller coaster accident, the bar is set pretty high as to how far the next entry in the series has to go. A ‘NASCAR’ accident with debris flying into the stands killing hordes of innocent people? Meh. But present it in 3D??? Now there’s a worthy entry!

After the ‘blah’ that was FINAL DESTINATION 3, I was actually surprised that they decided to go ahead with a FINAL DESTINATION 4–even more so that they decided to do it in 3D. But as 3D makes even the lamest movie awesome (SPY KIDS 3D anyone?), especially a movie that bases it’s thrills on creative death sequences, this latest installment is starting to sound like a blast and a half.

IESB scored a look at a few pages of the script from a recent casting call, and they go and describe what was given to them (check it HERE). While it doesn’t feature what I would consider huge spoilers, there are SPOILERS none-the-less, so if you’re sensitive to that kind of thing, then don’t click. But if you don’t really care and are mildly interested, it’s definitely worth a look.

If the script preview is to be trusted, then we can look forward to a semi-large body count during that ‘NASCAR’ crash sequence, and that’s something to look forward to–I mean, why else would you even see the movie if that sequence was going to be any less than spectacular? And in 3D? You’d be crazy not to be stoked.
