Last month we brought you the trailer for the little monster movie THE BLACKOUT (check that shite out HERE). The trailer looked promising and the teaser poster looked… like FEAST.
But some time has gone by, and now we have the new and improved poster for the Robert David Sanders directed click. Nasty creature, slick white background, a striking image… reminds me of the killer PANDORUM posters we caught earlier this year, and those were flippin’ awesome.
Too bad the flick just missed it’s timely holiday mark (it’s set on Christmas Eve). To refresh your booze-laced memory, THE BLACKOUT goes a bit something like this: When an apartment building’s lights go out mysteriously, all of the tenants put aside their problems and band together to get to the bottom of the city-wide blackout. Deep in the basement of the high-rise, a hideous breed of monster hatches and begins to wreak havoc. Everyone must find a way to kill the blood-thirsty creatures and survive the darkness before it destroys the world.
A monster movie set at Christmas? Where the f*ck do I sign up? Enjoy the new poster, hit up the film’s OFFICIAL BLOG and its OFFICIAL WEBSITE, and get ready for THE BLACKOUT sometime in 2010.
