Clowns are pretty f*cking scary creatures. Yes, I said creatures. The painted faces, the goofy outfits… I don’t know a single soul who actually likes clowns above the age of 5 or 6 years old. So why do they still exist? That will be a question that will be pondered for centuries to come.
The boys at Dread Central scored a clip from the upcoming DVD release of FINAL DRAFT today, featuring one killer clown… and muthaf*ckin’ James Van Der Beek! Before you knock Dawson too hard, check out THE PLAGUE. I think he found a nice niche with STD horror flicks. Seriously, the guy does a fairly decent job!
The story reminds me of my own life, as it involves a writer who holes himself up in his apartment for 18 days to finish his latest script, and the horrors that occur when his cabin fever sets in. Story of my life. Every. Single. Day. And after checking out the clip, I think you’ll agree… FINAL DRAFT is looking at some potential.
