For the most part this job is awesome… But sometimes we’ve got to write articles about flicks like VAMPIRES SUCK. Now I suppose there’s some comfort in the fact that we here at AITH collectively despise films like VAMPIRES SUCK and, for the most part, rip them apart mercilessly.. But alas when news breaks on a flick like VAMPIRES SUCK it’s our sworn duty to tell you all about it, for better or for worse.
With that being said, here I am today to show you all the first clip from the horror/comedy VAMPIRES SUCK, as if you hadn’t guessed that’s why we were here already. The clip, titled “Pale Guy,” comes courtesy of Yahoo! Movies and can be found by scrolling below. Said clip gives us a look at the beautiful Sullen family and, more specifically, ‘Edward Sullen.’ I’ve got to say… the random “Jersey Shore” pun made me smirk a little… Sure these movies are completely outrageous and in no way funny… but at least VAMPIRES SUCK is ripping things that deserve to be ripped, right?
Directly below we’ve also got a look at the latest one-sheet for the flick. This new poster is pretty much exactly like that German poster we showed you the other day except… well it’s in English. The tagline is actually pretty awesome too because it’s just oh-so true. Check out the poster below.
A spoof of vampire-themed movies, where teenager Becca finds herself torn between two boys. As she and her friends wrestle with a number of different dramas, everything comes to a head at their prom.
VAMPIRES SUCK sports a relatively unknown cast that includes Crista Flanagan, Kelsey Ford, Devon Kelly, Michelle Lang, Matt Lanter, Mike Mayhall, Krystal Mayo, Jenn Proske, Chris Riggi, Anneliese van der Pol (below), Ken Jeong and Arielle Kebbel. Oh Ken Jeong… You’re better than this man. Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer directed this little diddy, which is set to hit theaters everywhere August 18th.
