First Headless pic

The boys over at Fangoria scooped up a pic from
HEADLESS, a film that’s being made by one of their own.

The picture above is the first still from
HEADLESS which is being directed by

Anthony C. Ferrante. The film is a take on one of America’s greatest pieces of
folklore; THE LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW.

When asked about the film, Ferrante had this to
say:
“This is
a really unique spin on the Headless Horseman legend,” says Ferrante. “It
doesn’t go in the obvious directions you would expect, and since this isn’t
really set in Sleepy Hollow but a completely different town, it gave us the
freedom to come up with a whole new back-story that we haven’t quite seen
before.”

This sounds like it could be pretty sweet. The
Legend of Sleepy Hollow is one of my childhood favorites (even though I’m
Canadian) and I am such a whore for the story on film. No word yet on when the
film will air, but you can click

Also how f**ked is it that my parents used to
read me a story about a headless f**king horseman! It explains so much…
