First image from Randy Kent’s horror anthology The Perfect House

We got a little heads up and a new image from the horror anthology THE PERFECT HOUSE  today (Written, produced and directed by Kris Hulbert – Randy Kent co-directed), and while I’ve actually never heard of the film before, it’s now a large blip on my radar, as not only does the image look cool, but the concept and the horror promised within sounds like my kind of bag!

The biggest update to the film is this: production wrapped on June 28th, and now it’s fast and furious in post in preparation for its October 28th release date. So… what the hell is THE PERFECT HOUSE all about anyway? Check it:

THE PERFECT HOUSE is a unique horror story that crossed the lines of taste and ethics long before the script hit a piece of paper. This ultimate horror anthology features three intertwined stories (THE STORM, CHIC-KEN, THE DINNER GUEST) taking place generations apart, all set in the same house. Homage is paid to the horror stylings of the different time periods each story is set.

Check out the brand new image from the flick below and tell me you’re not at least a little bit interested in at least learning more about this flick. Come on! No? Then how about this: the film claims to hit a few “first ever” achievement in the horror genre, including…

1. first time someone has their eyelids removed
2. first time someone is attacked with a weedwacker
3. first time someone uses a finger as a shank

I don’t know if the first two could be considered “first ever” but I do know that I’ve never seen a shank made out of someone’s finger… that sounds like a first to me! Yikes!

Be sure to hit up the film’s OFFICIAL WEBSITE for more information and become a fan of it via it’s official FACEBOOK page. THE PERFECT HOUSE makes its theatrical debut (albeit a small one, no doubt) October 28, 2010.

Bo Derek was once considered a “Perfect 10.”
