I love movie reviewer and resident Rolling Stone film guru Peter Travers. He’s got a trademark hard-boiled style that is unmatched. The lucky sonofagun caught a very early look at the THE DARK KNIGHT, and he flips his shit. Travers warns us that “a thunderbolt is about to rip into the blanket of bland we call summer movies.” As for Heath Ledger’s final complete performance as the Joker, he calls the actor “mad-crazy-blazing brilliant,” and refers to his version of the Clown Prince as “all rampaging id.” Calls for a posthumous Oscar ensue, and Ledger’s status should grow to near mythical. Click HERE to read it, but there are mild spoilers.
