Over at Skewed and Reviewed, the dudes got ahold of the first pics from Uwe Boll’s upcoming horror film, SEED, along with some updated info on the flick.
The film follows the rule (if you can call it that) that according to US Federal law, if you have been convicted to death by the electric chair & survive three jolts of 15,000 volts each for 15 seconds, you get to go free. Sam Seed, an insane mass murderer, is scheduled for execution at the hands of Warden Wright. Before the executioner throws the switch, Wright steps in front of Seed and asks, “Do you have any last words?” Seed replies, “I’ll see you again.” After three attempts to electrocute, complete with boiling blood that steeps from his eyes, Seed is still alive. The executioner, Wright & the doctor collectively agree, however, that the breathing Seed be pronounced dead. He is bound and buried alive. After biting & clawing his way to the surface, Seed, the blood soaked, enraged madman, is now bent on vengeance.
Sounds like a pretty cool premise, but this is Uwe Boll we’re talking about. I still have yet to see something good come from the man, and until then, I remain skeptical of his stuff. Regardless, click on the chair below to see the rest of the pics. SEED, starring Andrew Jackson, Michael Paré, Ralf Moeller and Will Sanderson, is set for a 2007 release.
