Rian Johnson’s LOOPER is a flick we’ve been writing about with some regularity, mostly regarding casting and plot information. Well, today we have something a bit different. You see, 8 first set stills from the currently filming Louisiana production have been uploaded. Take a peek, we got ’em for you underneath!
In the stills, not too much is decipherable. There’s a few black and white architectural shots, a couple odd conceptual art pieces, a blood-splattered brick wall…that kind of thing. I wonder how much will actually be seen in the final product…
With Joseph Gordon Levitt, Bruce Willis, Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, Piper Parabo (below), Jeff Daniels and Noah Segan – LOOPER is a science fiction thriller is set during a future in which time travel has been invented, with operatives (loopers) sent back to the present to assassinate criminals. Gordon-Levitt will play a man sent back to kill himself.
LOOPER jumps into theaters sometime in 2012.
