First still from Rob Zombie’s 31 features Doom-Head

With production currently underway for Rob Zombie’s next foray into the world of horror in 31, it’s time to finally see what’s in store for the Halloween-set thriller. Our first look belongs to a still that features “Doom-Head”, played by the very talented Richard Brake, and it’s creepy as hell. Say what you will about Zombie, but that dudes really knows how to craft some haunting imagery, which is exactly what you’ll see here. Dig it!

In the film:

31 follows five carnival workers who are kidnapped the night before Halloween and held hostage in a large secret compound known as Murder World. Once there, they have 12 hours to survive a terrifying game called 31 in which “The Heads” – murderous maniacs dressed as clowns – are released to hunt them down and kill them.

Here’s what the rest of the cast looks like: Jeff Daniel Phillips stars as Roscoe; Jane Carr as “Sister Serpent”; Ginger Lynn as Cherry Bomb, a very special friend of the main man Doom-Head; Malcolm McDowell, who will play Father Murder, the owner of Murder World; Judy Geeson as “Sister Dragon”; David Ury as “Schizo-Head”; Daniel Roebuck as Pastor Victor; Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs as “Panda Thomas,” the manager of a traveling roadshow known as “The Venus Lux Happy Time Fun Show”; Pancho Moler as “Sick-Head; Tracy Walter as “Lucky Leo”; E.G. Daily as the character “Sex-Head”; Torsten Voges as “Death-Head,” as well as Sheri Moon Zombie, Lew Temple, Bari Suzuki, and Devin Sidell.
