announced this morning that 20th Century Fox just signed up director Gary Fleder to helm the upcoming thrill ride DARKLING COVE, from wrtier Caroline Case. Fleder who, you ask? He’s been doing TV lately, but he started out taking on a few ‘Tales from the Crypt’ episodes, and was the guy who brought us KISS THE GIRLS with Ashley Judd. Word.
The story itself sounds… done before, but maybe it’ll give us a few new surprises. Check it:
For some reason, I initially thought of that crappy Sarah Michelle Gellar flick when I read that. I don’t know why… but let’s hope it’s like THE RETURN. That movie sucked.
