Sometimes, just sometimes, it’s good to just mindlessly google PIRANHACONDA. Okay, that’s a lie – it’s always a good thing to do, because who knows what info you might find? Take this bit of info for example: I discovered that Shandi Finnessey has joined the cast of the Roger Corman-produced dream movie, which we first learned about last month. Who is Shandi Finnessey, you might ask? Only Miss USA 2004!! (Oh, and she was in SHARKTOPUS too, so things are going just right for the pretty lady…)

Finnessey joins the previously announced Diana Terranova in the flick, which is will be shooting in Hawaii in March. That, combined with the fact that Ms. Finnessey is in this, means whoever else ends up starring in it is a lucky bastard.
The only bad news here? It’s gonna be about a year until PIRANHACONDA hits the air. Sigh… I guess until then we’ll just have to enjoy Syfy’s other daring original films (which of course I’ll be reviewing every Monday!).
