We feel your pain buddy…. It was just last month when we hit you with the confirmation that the beautiful Kate Beckinsale (below) would indeed be strapping the leather back on for UNDERWORLD 4. Now that’s great news and all… but the update today has UNDERWORLD 4 being pushed back four whole months and a move like this is rarely a good thing…
Sure there may be a completely reasonable explanation for this one… but let’s be realistic. A move like this usually means there’s a hiccup in production but we’re not going to bother to speculate right now, let’s just get to the details. You see UNDERWORLD 4 recently sat comfortably at a release date of September 23, 2011… But my how things change. According to Box Office Mojo the film will now be hitting us on January 20, 2012! Some move. Let’s just go ahead and roll with it!
Unfortunately no details on UNDERWORLD 4 are known other than the fact that Kate Beckinsale will be returning as ‘Selene’ and UNDERWORLD creator Len Wiseman will have his hand on this one in one way or another, most likely as producer and director. Oh… and it’ll be in 3D of course. Hopefully we’ll get some more solid details soon to go along with this release date change so be sure to keep it here for anything and everything UNDERWORLD as we hear it!
