Fox picks up untitled sci-fi project with McG attached to produce and possibly direct

Did you enjoy the direction of McG’s TERMINATOR SALVATION, his first foray into the world of sci-fi? Whether you did or not, the often maligned director will be dipping back into the sci-fi well with a brand new untitled project from EXPENDABLES scribe David Callaham.

According to Deadline, McG will produce the newly picked up by Fox project, with an eye towards directing it. Unfortunately, story details on the untitled film are pretty much non-existent at the moment. Though if you want to know more about screenwriter Callaham, he was also responsible for the Dwayne Jonson sci-fi actioner DOOM. That might tell you something.

Meanwhile, McG just wrapped THIS MEANS WAR, the romantic action-comedy starring Tom Hardy, Reese Witherspoon, and Chris Pine. And then… the cinematic extravaganza we’ve all been waiting for… OUIJA.
