Fragile Poster

We’ve got a poster and some images for you from director Jaume Balaguero’s (DARKNESS) upcoming project, FRAGILE. It stars Calista Flockhart, who regardless of whether or not you feel she needs to knock back a burger or ten, is in my estimation one helluva an actress. The Mercy Falls Children’s Hospital is about to close its doors for good after one Century of service.

Amy, a young nurse, is sent from London to help out.

But she soon detects something odd in this place…

The children are nervous. And afraid. Of something intangible, invisible. Something that shouldn’t even exist. Something full of pain. And hatred. Some of them call it “the mechanical girl”.

And to discover it and protect the kids, Amy must face everything: the rest of the hospital staff who refuse to accept the obvious, her own fears, and the truth.

But the truth is very far from what anyone suspects. Darker. More sinister. And more dangerous…

There are more stills available for you to check out at the website, and some of them even look like they might not have been cribbed from THE WAR OF THE WORLDS. All kidding aside, though, this looks like one seriously promising flick. Good lead, sharp director, and kids in a creepy hospital. Check my ass in!
