Have a look at the freaky friggin’ international poster for the foreign flick SHIVER (in Spain it goes by the title ESKALOFRIO). That’s some good stuff! It looks like what used to be a young girl who’s been turned over to the dark side. The pupil-less eyes are a perfect touch.
My man Jared P. last reported on this flick here where he gave you a look at the trailer. Not too bad. I’ve definitely got a thing for creepy foreign flicks (THE ORPHANAGE, HIGH TENSION, INSIDE). I hope SHIVER is able to embed its title within me in copious amounts. Here’s a refresher on its plot:
A lonely adolescent moves with his mother to an isolated village. There, a series of odd events shock the community.
SHIVER was directed by Isidro Ortiz from a script by Ortiz, Hernán Migoya, José Gamo, and Alejandro Hernández. It stars Jimmy Barnatán, Paul Berrondo, Josep Maria Domènech, Roberto Enríquez, Andrés Herrera, Blanca Martínez, Berta Ros, Mar Sodupe, Blanca Suárez (below), and Junio Valverde.
