It’s not often I get grossed out by a poster, but for some reason, that moving vomit-tube image you see everywhere for THE HAUNTING IN CONNECTICUT really makes me gag. Maybe it’s because I don’t know what the hell is going on, or maybe it’s because I don’t like it when giant slippery globs of ectoplasm burst out of a hapless dude’s mouth. Just kinda squeamish about that sort of thing.
In any case, if you’re interested in watching this goopy event happen in the film, you’ll get a chance to see for yourself – a free chance. Break.com is offering select cities a free screening on Wednesday, March 25th, two days before the flick comes out. No purchase necessary, yadda yadda yadda. Head on over HERE to see if your city is in the mix.
Based on a chilling true story, Lionsgate’s THE HAUNTING IN CONNECTICUT charts one family’s terrifying, real-life encounter with the dark forces of the supernatural. When the Campbell family moves to upstate Connecticut, they soon learn that their charming Victorian home has a disturbing history: not only was the house a transformed funeral parlor where inconceivable acts occurred, but the owner’s clairvoyant son Jonah served as a demonic messenger, providing a gateway for spiritual entities to crossover.
The film stars the Milfalicious Virginia Madsen, Kyle Gallner, Martin Donovan and Elias Koteas.
