Alriiiight! Lately it seems all we’ve gotten by way of Paco Plaza and Jaume Balaguero’s hyperkinetic zombie flick REC 2 is one tantalizing still after another. Well guys and ghouls, we finally have some new footage from the film to behold, this time in the form of a French teaser trailer.
In a pretty uncharacteristic move to throw near back to back news love at France, I have to say, I am pretty excited to see how well (or not) the sequel stacks up to its blistering 2007 predecessor. Hell, if part deux even resembles the Americanized QUARANTINE (the stateside remake of REC), I’ll be one happy sucker.
But beware of the absence of English subtitles in the clip. Or use it as a perfect time for all you kiddies to prep for that lame ass French exam. Oui Oui?
REC 2, which literally picks up where the last one dumped us, is currently ravaging its way through France, yet still skirts any confirmed U.S. dates.
