Fright Flick gore

Oh, my fellow gorehounds, you’re Uncle Mikey has got some gruesomely great goods to give ya! Did you catch that pic above?! Everything about it screams, “OUCH!” Well, that pic as well as the one below is from the upcoming slasher/schlock-fest FRIGHT FLICK. Fango scored a very nice assortment of “colorful” images from this one which you can view here. Have a look at FRIGHT FLICK’s fun synopsis:

A second rate film crew is shooting the third in a trilogy of tasteless (yet cheesy) horror flicks called FRIGHT FLICK. The schmuck-of-a-director can’t keep his hands off the lead actors, the producer never gets his due credit, the supporting actress knows that SHE should be the lead, and the crew fights like a pack of rats… competition in the movie business is tough enough—but anyone on this set would kill to stay on top.

FRIGHT FLICK is the quintessential campy, slasher/who-dunnit flick that reveals how everyone is just dying to be in the movie business… although it may cost you an arm and a leg!

Sounds like a fun enough time to me. Sure it’s once again reminiscent of the likes of SCREAM 3 and SLAUGHTER STUDIOS, but regarding these types of movies, is that really a problem? What’s further selling me on this flick is what writer/director Israel Luna had to say: “One of my favorite scenes to shoot was the first one. I was always told that no distributor will pay much attention to your horror movie if you don’t have the key ingredients: nudity, blood and gore. So I decided to give it to them in the very first scene: the opening 10 seconds of the film show a hot girl taking a shower.” Okay, so that covers the nudity, and as for the blood and gore, I think the pics above and below speak for themselves.

The film stars Chad Allen, Jon Paul Burkhart, Charles Baker, and Whitney Blake. Luna also adds: “People wanting a horror movie with a retro feel—like the films of the ’80s—are going to be very satisfied with FRIGHT FLICK.” It’s set to release some time in 2008. Check out the trailer below!
